  • SCRIPT BREAKDOWN & SCRIPT/FILM BUDGETING
    • Price: $500 (90-120 pages) for Film Budgeting (if Breakdown provided)
    • Price:  $700 (90-120 pages) for Film Budgeting and Breakdown together
    • Additional Pages: $60 per 10 pages

These services are jointly provided by Tom Morgan and his wife, Ilene Morgan (who has a MBA degree from Loyola Marymount and years of experience working at film studios and production companies creating budgets). The Script Breakdown is a detailed listing of all characters, all locations, all scenes, etc.  Much of this Script Breakdown can be done using Final Draft or other software, and this is the first step in breaking down elements for inclusion in a budget.  Without the Final Draft file or the hardcopy lists, the Script Breakdown is time intensive and we have to charge an additional $200 fee to read through the script and compile the lists manually.  Script/Film Budgeting is an Excel spreadsheet that gives producers a completed estimate of all costs and expenses to film your project.  The Script/Film budgeting can be done using the Script Breakdown alone, but most people also have additional parameters (i.e., trying to get specific actors, use certain locations, or work within a pre-conceived budget) that we can take into consideration.  If you supply your own Script Breakdown lists via Final Draft or in hardcopy, then there is no additional charge.  If we receive only the script hardcopy and are expected to compile the Script Breakdown lists ourselves, then the $200 fee applies.  The Script/Film Budgeting is $500 for an average length film script (90-120 pages).

  • FULL LENGTH SCREENPLAY
    • Price: $175 (90 — 120 pages)
    • Additional pages: $10 per 10 pages
    • Script analysis includes a typed, three page coverage report, and as many pages of additional story notes as the project warrants (2 pages minimum) with suggestions for improvement. All editing is made by hand in red ink. In addition, your manuscript will be mailed back with edit and formatting notes.
  • TREATMENT/OUTLINE
    • Price $50 (up to 15 pages)
    • Submissions must be printed/typed & double spaced on single sided paper.
  • ONE PAGE STORY PREMISE
    • Price: $25
    • Submissions must be printed/typed & double spaced on single sided paper.
  • NOVEL
    • Price: $300 (up to 350 pages)
    • Additional pages: $1 per page
  • SHORT STORY
    • Price: $50 (up to 25 pages)
    • Additional pages: $1 per page
  • QUERY LETTER
    • Price: $25
    • The query letter should be no more than 1 page and can be for any project.
  • ADDITIONAL HOURLY CONSULTATION
    • Price: $25 per hour
